❓ What Is a Notary Public?

A Notary Public is an official commissioned by the state to serve as an impartial witness during the signing of important documents. Their role is to help prevent fraud by verifying the identity of signers, making sure they’re signing willingly, and ensuring they understand what they’re signing.

Notaries in Washington are commonly used for documents like real estate forms, powers of attorney, wills, affidavits, and more. In some cases, a notary may also administer an oath or affirmation as part of the signing process.

At PFB Notary Signing Agent, I take that responsibility seriously and follow all state laws to make sure your documents are notarized properly — with care, accuracy, and professionalism.
